Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for gathering
news, including tracking down and interviewing news sources, live
coverage of breaking news events, researching news stories,
completing assigned news stories and enterprising original stories.
This position is also responsible for a great deal of writing,
including original news stories, original newscasts, re-writes of
wire stories and other writing assignments. Anchoring
responsibilities can include live and pre-recorded newscasts in a
variety of formats and live news coverage as needed.

Experience Requirements: To work with us you will have the ability to
enterprise and execute strong stories while working under deadline
pressure; applicants must have the ability to convey information in a
credible, conversational manner. Applicant should have at least three
to five years experience as a reporter. Computer experience required
– AVID I-News system preferred. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills required for newsgathering and story writing.
College degree preferred.
