We’ve covered ABC’s hit show “Scandal’s” social prowess before, and with its winter hiatus causing die-hard fans withdrawals, the show is interacting with its fan via social media ahead of its return February 27.
“Just hang in there, it’s not that much longer, just hang in there…you know red wine, popcorn, Scandal re-watch parties,” show star Darby Stanchfield said in a Facebook video message to fans (close to 5,000 liked it).
On its Tumblr account, a wine bottle draped with some of the best lines from the show occupies a full screen with the tag line: “23 more days until Scandal returns! Here’s a Scandal poster to help you cope without Pope.”
And on Instagram, the show told fans to double tab a “Scandal Sneak Leak” image to get a sneak preview of scenes from the show’s future episodes.
