36 Million Tweets Makes #SB49 Most Tweeted @SuperBowl Ever

Last night on Twitter, over 36 million global tweets about the Super Bowl (and the halftime show) were sent between the three hours before kickoff and the three hours after the game’s final play, generating 2.5 billion impressions. These numbers make #SB49 the most tweeted-about @SuperBowl ever, surpassing last year’s game.

The halftime show (8:10-8:25pm EST) featuring @katyperry, @LennyKravitz and @MissyElliot generated over 3 million tweets.
