2013 Was a Social Success for VH1

VH1 saw social media success in 2013, with its Monday lineup of programming and original movies generating strong conversation online.

Other than sports, “Love & Hop Hop: Alanta” ranked as one of Monday’s top tweeted about shows on cable from April through August, according to Nielsen SocialGuide, with its premiere episode being the number one tweeted show on April 22.

An original movie, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” created online buzz on October 21 with close to 2 million tweets seen by over 4.8 million people. That beat “Monday Night Football” to take the top-spot in social ratings for that day.

Other highlights for year also included VH1’s new app, which featured on-demand content and a new content-lab called “VH1 Snack.”
