Deborah Yeh, CMO of Sephora, has beat the odds in holding her chief marketing role at Sephora for more than 8 years. And while sticking with one brand for very long as a CMO isn’t common, she says, “I have found that it has been so rewarding and it’s had so many benefits for me primarily because what rewards me and motivates me at an organization is impact. And I just find that you can’t do that deeply if you only have a surface view of the brand and the organization.”
