Trump Campaign Book Pitches Are Scarce

Despite that Donald Trump had a storied campaign, not many people have pitched books on the subject yet, according to publishers.

Alessandra Bastagli, editorial director of Nation Books, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, told The New York Post that she has only seen one pitch, which she rejected. Here is more from The Post:

One executive said he is eyeing NBC correspondent Katy Tur, whose cause was helped by the September Marie Claire piece “My Crazy Year with Trump,” in which she labeled a Trump rally “a cross between a circus performance, a religious revival, and a rock concert.”
