Trailer Unveiled For Neil Gaiman’s Likely Stories Adaptation

A trailer has been unveiled for the Likely Stories adaptation series. According to Neil Gaiman’s blog post, the four episodes were based on his short stories. The air date for the first installment has been scheduled for May 26.

The video embedded above offers glimpses of cast members Tom Hughes, Johnny Vegas, George MacKay, Rita Tushingham, and Kenneth CranhamIan Forsyth and Jane Pollock served as the directors. Jarvis Cocker created the soundtrack.

Here’s more from Variety: “The ‘dark and strange’ London-set tales will center on the act of storytelling in a world that moves seamlessly between reality and fantasy. Gaiman will appear in each story in an ‘unusual way,’ with subtle nods to his wider work that will appeal to his fanbase. The four adaptations are titled ‘Foreign Parts,’ a story of identity, ghostly tales ‘Feeders & Eaters’ and ‘Closing Time’ and the life-spanning story ‘Looking for the Girl.’ Kevin Lehane will pen the first three scripts while Forsyth and Pollard will adapt ‘Looking for the Girl.'” (via RadioTimes)
