Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan character will be adapted into a new video series for Amazon starring John Krasinski.
The 10-episiode series from Paramount and Skydance Television, will soon begin filming around the globe. The series will adapt the popular CIA analyst character into new and modern contexts. Here is more from the press release:
The series follows Ryan (Krasinski) as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
Graham Roland wrote the pilot based on a story and developed the idea with Carlton Cuse, from Lost and Bates Motel, who is set the executive produce the series.
