Social media users have flooded Twitter and Facebook with drawings of Georges Remi’s Tintin and dog Snowy crying in solidarity with Brussels today.
After the terrorist attacks on Belgium today, Tintin’s image has become the symbol of support for the city. Many of these tweets include the hashtag #JeSuisBruxelles, inspired by the #JeSuisCharlie hashtag that took off after the Charlie Hebdo offices were attacked by terrorists.
