The Baudelaire Kids Meet Count Olaf in the A Series of Unfortunate Events Trailer

Netflix has unleashed a full trailer for A Series of Unfortunate Events. The story for this adaptation project comes from Daniel Handler’s thirteen-part middle grade book series.

Here’s more from Entertainment Weekly: “In the first official trailer for Netflix and Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and baby Sunny (Presley Smith) are whisked away from their homes after their parents perish — that’s ‘killed,’ FYI — in a fire. Their new guardian, Count Olaf, quickly tries to seize their fortune through a number of schemes: he makes them tackle a lengthy list of chores, threatens them with a faulty hourglass (he bought it online, OK?!), and uses disguises involving beards, wigs, and colorful costumes.”

The video embedded above offers glimpses of Neil Patrick Harris as the villainous Count Olaf. According to The Wrap, the eight episodes of season one will be released online on January 13, 2017 (Friday the 13th). Follow these links to watch the first teaser and the second teaser. (via Collider)
