TED-Ed Lesson Explores the Egyptian Book of the Dead

By Maryann Yin

The TED-Ed team has crafted a lesson to discuss the Book of the Dead. During ancient times, the Egyptians believed in creating a special guidebook to help dead spirits navigate around the underworld.
The video embedded above features references to several deities from Egyptian mythology including Anubis, Apep, Maat, Ra, and Osiris. Over at the TED-Ed website, viewers can access a quiz, a discussion board, and more resources.
