Syfy announced plans to launch a new television series based on Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. This dystopian story was first published in 1932.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Grant Morrison and Brian Taylor have been brought on to serve as both writers and executive producers for this show. Morrison has become well-known as a comics writer and Taylor forged a career as a Hollywood filmmaker.

Humans are given mind-altering drugs, free sex and rampant consumerism are the order of the day, and people no longer reproduce but are genetically engineered in ‘hatcheries.’ Those who won’t conform are forced onto ‘reservations,’ until one of the “savages” challenges the system, threatening the entire social order.” (via The Verge)
