Rumors are circulating that Warner Brothers already gave the green light for a Suicide Squid sequel. According to The Wrap, David Ayer, the director behind the first installment, and Will Smith, the actor who plays Deadshot, may return for the second movie.
Here’s more from The Independent: “If work does begin on the film in 2017, surely we should expect the sequel in 2018 – the same year both The Flash and Aquaman are expected to launch; two titles people are slightly skeptical about. Shoehorning the film into the schedule could disrupt a number of things, including the release of a Ben Affleck starring Batman spin-off film, which currently does not have a release date.”
