Short Stories on Wine Bottles

By Dianna Dilworth

Italian winery Matteo Correggia has teamed up with designers Reverse Innovation to bring short stories to wine packaging.

The line of wine is called Librottiglia. Each bottle of wine in the collection is paired with a short story that is wrapped around the bottle as part of its label. The collection includes both reds and whites. The idea is to get people to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy a short story that complements the mood of the wine. Each 375-ML bottle comes with two glasses of wine. Weburbanist has more:

A piece of twine wraps the book to each bottle while the words themselves are printed on a thick paper stock to round out the stylized packaging. Stories include The Frog in the Belly, I Love You Forget Me and others by journalists, humorists and mystery writers.
