On Twitter yesterday, author and reality television star Sarah Palin compared the WikiLeaks exposure of diplomatic cables to the leak of her embargoed memoir.
She tweeted: “Inexplicable: I recently won in court to stop my book ‘America by Heart’ from being leaked,but US Govt can’t stop Wikileaks’ treasonous act?”

Last week, HarperCollins resolved their lawsuit against Gawker over a post containing photographed excerpts from Sarah Palin’s memoir, America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag. A federal judge ordered Gawker to remove the excerpts before the out of court settlement. When asked about “financial settlement,” a HarperCollins spokesperson “declined to comment.“
