Romance readers Bea and Leah Koch are trying to raise $90,000 on Kickstarter to fund “the only exclusively romance bookstore in the United States.”
As romance enthusiasts, the two women felt that the genre lacked “a physical space where romance enthusiasts can come together to buy the books they love.” The Ripped Bodice, which will open in Culver City, Calif., in 2016, aims to solve that problem. Here is more from the Kickstarter listing:
