Reese Witherspoon has signed a deal with the Simon & Schuster imprint, Touchstone. The Oscar-winning actress and Hollywood filmmaker plans to write a lifestyle book inspired by the cultures of the American South.
The not-yet-titled project will feature color photos and personal essays. The publishing house has set the release date for 2018.
Witherspoon gave this statement in the press release: “I’m thrilled to be writing my first book with Touchstone. It’s a unique opportunity for me to share funny anecdotes about my Southern upbringing and give people a glimpse into my idea of Southern living.”
