Reading books is an appealing hobby in potential mates, according to a new report from dating app My Bae.
The app’s users that use reading related tags in their profiles are more likely to find a match. Book related tags had more success than any other tag type including music, films or TV.
In fact, across the site 21 percent of matches made had reading tags in common versus 15 percent for music, films, or TV tags. Check it out:
Users that featured book specific tags such as #TheGirlOnTheTrain, #GameOfThronesBooks, #TheLastMan etc and used at least 2 book related tags had a dramatically increased chance of matching with someone than someone who didn’t.
