Random House’s New Web Series Goes Behind the Scenes

Penguin Random House has introduced a new video series on its Blog called The Life of a Book.

The series shows all about how a book gets made from manuscript to book on a shelf. The feature will includes several interviews with various employees at the publisher including: an editor, marketing people, and cover designers talking about their processes.

The first edition will focus on Chuck Klosterman‘s new title, But What If We’re Wrong?. The multi-part series, which runs through the book’s release on June 7, will include a two-part interview with Klosterman’s editor Brant Rumble, as well as the story of the cover’s design, and insights from an indie bookseller and marketer about how the book is being pushed. The author will also be featured on the Penguin Random House podcast, Beaks and Geeks.
