Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep (GalleyCat)Carl-Johan Forssén Ehrlin intends to write a new picture book entitled The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep. This Swedish scientist and author has become well-known for writing a popular children’s book entitled The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep; he self-published it back in 2011.

For Ehrlin, the aim behind both of these projects is to help children fall asleep. Random House Children’s Books has scheduled the release date for the United States edition to take place on October 4. The United Kingdom edition will follow on October 6.

Here’s more from the press release: “Beautifully illustrated by Sydney Hanson, the book features Ellen the Elephant, who is on a journey through a magical forest that leads to sleep. Along the way, she meets different fantastical characters and has soothing experiences that are meant to help children relax and slip into slumber quickly. The book also includes tips written by Carl-Johan Forssén Ehrlin for using the techniques successfully.”
