Penguin Random House Takes On The Mannequin Challenge: VIDEO

By Maryann Yin

A team of Penguin Random House employees banded together to try out a new internet craze called the “mannequin challenge.”

Here’s more from The New York Times: “In this latest viral video genre, groups of people are gathering and freezing themselves in place, often in elaborate poses and scenarios, as one camera-toting person walks through the scene to zoom in on the details. As is often the case, teenagers are leading the way.”

According to the publishing house’s announcement, the group shared the video on their social media pages. The Twitter post embedded above features the completed project. Would you try out this trendy activity?
