Penguin Random House Audio has launched a podcast called “This is The Author.” Each episode will feature an interview with an author who will talk about the experience of narrating their own audiobooks.
Dan Zitt, a vice president of content production at the publishing house, and Karen Dziekonski, an executive producer, worked together to launch this project. Thus far, nine installments have been posted online.
Some of the participants include Peter Straub, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Maria Konnikova. Subscribers can access this podcast on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher, and Tune In.
