Author Neil Gaiman and his rock star wife Amanda Palmer sometimes enjoy chats when Gaiman is half asleep. Palmer decided to create an animated film based on one of these conversations.
The video embedded above is based off a voice memo, and it’s called “Behind the Trees.” Gaiman shared the piece on his Facebook page and called it “short and wonderful.”
Artist Avi Ofer created the animation. Palmer took on the task of writing and recording an original score. (via brain pickings)
