National Book Foundation to Release 5 Under 35 List on BuzzFeed

NYF_logo_08_AThe National Book Foundation has teamed up with BuzzFeed Books to reveal its list of 5 Under 35 Honorees for 2015. The list will go live this Wednesday at 9 a.m. EDT.

This is the second year in a row that the National Book Foundation has worked with BuzzFeed to release the list. The award, which is in its 10th year, celebrates five young, emerging authors. The honorees will be honored at a private ceremony at powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Nov. 16. Each author will receive a $1,000 prize. This year’s selection committee includes Phil Klay, author of Redeployment, winner of the 2014 National Book Award for Fiction and a 2014 5 Under 35 Honoree; Fiona Maazel, author of Woke Up Lonely and a 2008 5 Under 35 Honoree; Dinaw Mengestu, author All Our Names and a 2007 5 Under 35 Honoree; ZZ Packer, author of Drinking Coffee Elsewhere and a 2006 5 Under 35 Honoree; and Paul Yoon, author of Snow Hunters and a 2010 5 Under 35 Honoree.
