Nation Books, an imprint at PublicAffairs, has announced plans to publish an advice book by Eleanor Roosevelt. She was well-known as a humanitarian and the longest-serving First Lady of the United States.
According to the publisher’s announcement, this book, entitled It’s Up to Women, contains advice from Roosevelt (pictured, via) on “every aspect of life.” It also features “a surprisingly timely call to action for women to step up and lead the country in a time of crisis.”
Jill Lepore, a historian and long-time writer at The New Yorker, has agreed to write the introduction for this book. The publication date has been scheduled for April 11, 2017.
