By Maryann Yin

harlequin304The executives at MIRA Books have announced plans to launch Park Row Books. Margaret Marbury, the vice President of general fiction editorial, and Erika Imranyi, an executive editor, will take the helm of this new literary fiction imprint.

The inaugural books from this imprint are slated for release in Summer 2017. The launch list includes Benjamin Ludwig’s debut novel, The Improbable Flight of Ginny Moon.

Here’s more from the press release: “The name Park Row Books was inspired by the landmark street that runs through downtown Manhattan and ends at the Woolworth Building, the former home of Harlequin’s New York office for many years. Once known as ‘Printing House Square’ and the location of many of New York’s major newspapers, Park Row has a rich heritage of fostering free expression, creative ideas and important voices.”
