Michele Bachmann Inks Book Deal with Sentinel

Presidential candidate and Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann has landed a book deal with Penguin Group’s Sentinel imprint.

Publication for the currently untitled book has been set for November 21. The book will include “previously untold stories about her life outside of politics.” Publisher Adrian Zackheim acquired the book and the politician won’t receive an advance (in accordance with congressional rules).

Bachmann had this comment in the release: “People are the most important ingredient in life. I love people, and I care deeply that our nation’s economy turns around so they can realize their American dream. This book will help to share my enthusiasm for an energized, pro-growth economy, and the life experiences that inform my optimism for the American people and for American greatness.”

Over the weekend, Bachmann (pictured, via) talked about Hurricane Irene in Florida, remarking: “I don’t know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians.” After being criticized for that remark, Bachmann later explained: “Of course I was being humorous.”
