CBS has unleashed a new trailer for Supergirl. The video embedded above offers glimpses of Melissa Benoist taking on the the titular role. Entertainment Weekly reports that Helen Slater and Dean Cain have signed on to play Supergirl’s foster parents.
Executives have confirmed that Superman (aka Clark Kent and Kal-El), the Kryptonian cousin of Supergirl (born Kara Zor-El), won’t have a great role on this adaptation. The premiere episode will air on October 26. Follow this link to watch a “first look” video. (via The Wall Street Journal)
