Can you imagine the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl taking down Iron Man, The Punisher, or The Hulk? During a recent C2E2 panel, Marvel announced its intention to publish a new stand-alone graphic novel for the mutant superheroine.
According to IGN, Squirrel Girl (a.k.a. Doreen Green) will face an evil clone. This villain stirs up trouble by going on a combative frenzy against some of Marvel’s most powerful warriors.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the publisher has brought on Erica Henderson, an artist, and Ryan North, a writer, to work on this project. The release date for The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe has been scheduled for October 2016. (via Comic Book Resources)
