Have you ever envisioned a Black Widow movie? Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, revealed that this project may happen in the future.

In an interview with Deadline, Feige explained: “We think Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal of her is amazing. She’s a lead Avenger and has amazing stories in her own right to tell that we think would be fun to turn into a stand-alone franchise.”

According to a poll conducted by USA Today and Fandago, fans of Marvel’s superhero movies seem to agree with Feige’s opinion. From a pool of more than 1,000 moviegoers (who purchased tickets for Captain America: Civil War), 48% favor the idea of a Black Widow film adaptation.

To date, Johansson has played this role in five films: Iron Man 2 (2010), The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and Captain America: Civil War (2016). Click here to check out Saturday Night Live’s Black Widow movie trailer spoof.
