Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has taken a jab at the anti-vaxxer movement in his latest book club selection.
During the month of March, his book club is reading On Immunity by Eula Biss, a book that debunks misconceptions about immunity. “Vaccination is an important and timely topic,” writes Zuckerberg in the Facebook post announcing the pick. “The science is completely clear: vaccinations work and are important for the health of everyone in our community.”
“This book explores the reasons why some people question vaccines, and then logically explains why the doubts are unfounded and vaccines are in fact effective and safe,” he continues.
