The Library of Congress has released a smartphone app to support the National Book Festival next month.

The new app is designed to help attendees navigate the event which takes place Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The free app, which is available in iOS and Android, contains the program for the event including more than 175 author presentations, book-signings and activities. During the event, users will get notifications reminding them about sessions they are interested in attending, along with any changes to the schedule. There is also an option to rate the various sessions.
