Kanye West has written a poem entitled “The McDonald’s Man.” Paper Magazine reports that the piece was published in Frank Ocean’s “Boys Don’t Cry” magazine; copies of this publication were bundled with physical copies of Ocean’s recently released album, Blonde.
According to TIME, a representative from McDonald’s issued a statement thanking West (pictured, via) for the positive commentary on the fast food chain’s fries and apple pies. Here’s an excerpt from West’s poem:
“McDonalds man
McDonalds, damn
Them French fries look good tho
I knew the diet Coke was jealous of the fries
I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries
I could see it through his artificial meat eyes”
