The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has scheduled World Poetry Day to take place on March 21. Julius Meinl, an Austrian-based coffee-roasting company, will launch a special initiative to celebrate this event.

On that day, more than 1,000 coffeehouses around the world will offer customers the chance to purchase a Julius Meinl coffee or tea beverage for a poem. The promotional video embedded above features an appearance by an artist and the program’s global ambassador, Robert Montgomery.

Here’s more information from the company website: “On March 21st, World Poetry Day, we let our imagination wonder. We dream of a place where money is replaced by emotions. A better world. For one day, we’re changing the currency in coffeehouses around the globe. And Julius Meinl coffees or teas will be paid with your poems.”
