J.K. Rowling Reveals the Price of Tuition at Hogwarts

Hogwarts (GalleyCat)Have you ever dreamed about attending Hogwarts? According to a Twitter post from J.K. Rowling, the cost of tuition is free. The wizarding world government in Britain, known as the Ministry of Magic, assumes responsibility for the bill.

Mashable reports that students still have to pay for supplies such as text books, wands, and robes themselves. Now we are left to wonder on whether or not a similar situation takes place at the American wizarding school. Perhaps this detail will be revealed (along with the location) in the forthcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie.

Not too long ago, several Harry Potter fans inquired about how to obtain a letter of admissions to Hogwarts. Rowling replied: “All these people saying they never got their Hogwarts letter: you got the letter. You went to Hogwarts. We were all there together.” (via TIME)
