J.K. Rowling has become well-known for delighting Harry Potter fans on Twitter. Recently, she answered several questions about both the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie and the original book series.
The readers asked Rowling about wands, new characters, Luna Lovegood’s birthday, Wormtail’s entry into Gryffindor, and where Newt Scamander received his magical education. We now know that Rowling has figured out the school houses of each movie character (both at the American institution and Hogwarts), the compositions of the characters’ wands, a scarred character will appear in the movie, and that Newt Scamander is a member of Hufflepuff house at Hogwarts.
In addition, Warner Bros. recently announced that Dan Fogler has been cast for the role of a muggle named Jacob in the movie. Deadline reports that Fogler’s character meets Newt (to be played by Eddie Redmayne) during an outing in New York.
