Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX will team up to host the Harry Potter IMAX Week event. Through this partnership, all eight movies from the Harry Potter film franchise will be screened at select IMAX theaters.
According to The Daily Dot, this event was organized in anticipation of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a spinoff movie following the antics of Newt Scamander, which will hit theaters on November 18. Fans will be able to watch the movies starting on October 13.
Here’s more from Variety: “The event also marks the first time both Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets — the first two movies in the series — will be shown in IMAX theaters. The October 13 launch will include a global fan event celebrating the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts at select IMAX theaters in the U.S. and internationally, including a never-before-seen reel from the new film, as well as in-person appearances by the stars at two locations in London and Los Angeles, and a live Q&A.” (via Teen VOGUE)
