Hugh Jackman has signed on for an acting role in The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian film adaptation. According to Variety, the Oscar-nominated actor will also take on duties as a producer.
The story for this movie project comes from Sherman Alexie’s semi-autobiographical young adult novel. Little, Brown Books for Young Readers first published this National Book Award-winning title back in September 2007.
