High Museum of Art to Host a Retrospective Eric Carle Exhibit

Eric Carle (GalleyCat)The High Museum of Art will host the “I See a Story: The Art of Eric Carle” exhibit. This Atlanta-based institution will be the only venue to showcase this retrospective program.

The curators collected more than 80 collages. These pieces come from 16 picture books including Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, The Grouchy Ladybug, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

According to the museum’s website, “this exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Alliance Theatre’s world premiere play with music Pancakes, Pancakes! (June 1 through July 3, 2016), based on Eric Carle’s (pictured, via) book of the same name.” The opening date has been scheduled for April 2, 2016.
