Who is your favorite poet online? Between now and April 15, nominations are open to pick the 2010 Poet Laureate Of The Blogosphere.
The annual contest is hosted by Billy Jones (aka Billy The Blogging Poet, pictured). The past winners were these Internet-savvy poets: Jilly Dybka, Ron Silliman. Amy King and Tony Brown.
Here’s more from the post: “It was back in 2005 when I first hosted the nominations and voting for the Poet Laureate of the Blogosphere as a means to make relatively unknown poets better known and to prove there are still great poets who don’t make the rounds of the university circuits. And I’m happy to announce that beginning today and until April 15th you can nominate your favorite poetry bloggers even if that poetry blogger is you.”
