Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter’s Hamilton: The Revolution has sold out on the Amazon website. Miranda and McCarter’s mission with this book (nicknamed “Hamiltome”) was to offer readers “a backstage pass” to Miranda’s hit musical.
Hamilton: The Revolution holds the number one spot on the Amazon best seller list for books and on the Barnes & Noble Top 100 list. The audiobook edition, which features narration by Mariska Hargitay, has also broke into Amazon’s top 100 best seller list for audiobooks.
Currently, Amazon has listed this book as “temporarily out of stock.” According to The Associated Press, Jimmy Franco, the senior director of publicist at Grand Central Publishing, revealed that Hamiltome will be “going into its third printing, for a planned total of 210,000 copies.” (via Entertainment Weekly)
