Many films are based on book adaptations, as it often gives a clearer storyline to the film and enables it to have a more solid plotline. While some films may be directly linked to the novels that they are based on, it might surprise you to know that some of these films were indeed based on books. For example, did you know that Jaws was also a novel written in 1974, and Forrest Gump was a novel written in 1986?
