Facebook Lobbyist: ‘We’re Allowing Too Much, Maybe, Free Speech in Countries That Haven’t Experienced It Before’

facebooklogo.jpgIn a Wall Street Journal report about Facebook’s new lobbying efforts in Washington, lobbyist Adam Conner offered a surprising comment about the future of Facebook writing around the world.

Here’s the quote: “Maybe we will block content in some countries, but not others … We are occasionally held in uncomfortable positions because now we’re allowing too much, maybe, free speech in countries that haven’t experienced it before.”
