Hulu plans to create a new drama series based on The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Elizabeth Moss has landed the lead role of a handmaid named Offred.
According to Indiewire, Atwood will serve as a consulting producer on this adaptation project. The first of ten episodes will air in 2017.
