Drew Ford to Launch the It’s Alive Imprint at IDW Publishing

It's Alive Imprint Logo (GalleyCat)Drew Ford will launch his own imprint at IDW Publishing. Ford and the team behind the It’s Alive imprint aims to release five to six books in 2017.

The first title to kick off It’s Alive will be Red Range by Joe R. Lansdale and Sam Glanzman. The second title will be Dope by Trina Robbins.

According to the press release, the mission behind the It’s Alive imprint is to preserve “the history of comics, one collection at a time. That goal has led Ford to acquire reprint rights to several exciting graphic novel and comic book projects, and has now signed with IDW to solicit and distribute the titles produced by his new imprint, making those collections much more accessible to a larger audience.”
