Cult filmmaker David Lynch is working on a book about his life. The book, which is titled “Life & Work” and is due out from Grand Central Publishing in 2017, will focus on his biography and his creative work.
While Lynch has been the subject of several books in the past, the new work will be complete. “I want to get all the right information in one place,” Lynch stated, “so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here.”
Lynch is working with his friend, journalist Kristine McKenna, on the book making it part memoir, part biography. The book will include Lynch’s musing intertwined with his life story from McKenna’s interviews with the director and Lynch’s friends, family and colleagues.
The Twin Peaks director also recently released a blues album called, “The Big Dream.”
