Dark Horse Comics to Publish ‘Avatar’ Comics

Avatar (GalleyCat)Dark Horse Comics has formed a partnership with 20th Century Fox Consumer Products and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. The publisher announced at a New York Comic Con panel that the collaborators will work together to create an Avatar comic series.

Cameron recorded a message for the panel attendees and revealed that these books will feature Avatar stories set in the past, present, and future. Click here to watch the video with Cameron’s message.

Mesmerizing all ages across the globe with its otherworldly visuals and groundbreaking special effects, the film quickly became a worldwide phenomenon so popular it will be followed by three sequels, with the first sequel due for release in late 2017.”
