Chimamanda Ngozi AdichieChimamanda Ngozi Adichie has written a new essay for The Altantic on “What Hillary Clinton’s Fans Love About Her.” In this piece, Adiche examines the qualities of the former Secretary of State that make her fit to be Commander-in-Chief. Here’s an excerpt from Adichie’s essay:

“Because Hillary Clinton is a woman, she is judged too harshly for doing what most politicians do—hedging sometimes, waffling sometimes, evading sometimes. Politicians are ambitious; they have to be. Yet for Hillary Clinton, ambition is often an accusation.”

Adichie has become a vocal advocate in the fight for feminism and gender equality. In 2012, Adiche delivered a talk at TEDx Euston called “We Should All Be Feminists.” In 2015, Random House published the text of Adichie’s talk in a small bookFollow this link to watch her presentation.
