Authors featured in the schedule include: Margaret Atwood, Sherman Alexie, Ken Bruen, Margo Jefferson, Alexander Chee, Faith Erin Hicks, Russell Banks, Phoebe Gloeckner, Chester Brown, Salman Rushdie, Libba Bray, Jacqueline Woodson, and Joyce Carol Oates, among many others.
A “Literary Mingle” will take place at the Issue Project Room in downtown Brooklyn on Thursday before the big event and Brooklyn Book Festival Children’s Day is Saturday, September 17, 2016.
