Beth Revis has written and plans to digitally publish a trilogy of advice books called Paper Hearts. She has made it her mission to release these books as quickly as possible because it may prove helpful for those who intend to start a National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) project.
Here’s more from Revis’ blog post: “A few years ago, I started gathering up my writing advice posts from across the internet into one place–a Wattpad book called Paper Hearts. This was a little side project for me, and one borne of love–a love of teaching, a love of writing, and mostly a love of my readers who wanted to be writers. This was the book that I wish I’d had when I was starting out, and it was something I wanted to do to give back to the YA writing community.”
Volume one (on writing advice) will be released on Nov. 1. Volume two (on publishing advice) comes out on Dec. 1. Volume three (on marketing advice) will follow on Jan. 1. Altogether, Revis wrote 175,000 words for these three books.
